About Us

Should you have any items of jewellery that require repair then these items can be repaired by reputable tradesmen at excellent value for money prices.

The best way to assess your item is if you bring it to one of the antique fairs we exhibit at. In most cases, we will be able to give you an immediate quote for the work, and you can decide if you wish to proceed.

If you cannot make it to the antique fair, then the next best solution is to send us an email with a picture of the item and a description of the work that needs to be carried out.

If you do not have access to email, then just complete our Requests / Comments form and we will get back in touch with you.

Ring Resizing:

Larger:

Most rings (except full eternity or puzzle rings for example) can be made larger by a few sizes by use of a machine that expands the shank of the ring.

Resizing of this nature would typically cost £5

If the ring needs to be made larger by more than a few sizes, then this requires the ring to be cut on the shank, and an extra piece of gold (or silver) added to the ring. This is then soldered and polished.

Typical costs for this are the cost of the added gold, plus £10 labour.

Smaller:

Will require the shank to be cut. The ring is then reshaped to its’ new size and polished.

Typical costs are £10 labour.

Soldering:

Generally speaking will be the cost of any materials plus labour.

Watch Repairs:

We know several watch repairers in the North West who specialize in particular fine makes, Omega, Rolex, Patek Phillipe etc.

The prices they charge will depend on the nature of the work required.
